SSI Professional Level 1 Swim Teacher Certification
While the mechanics of teaching a swimming stroke to children and adult are basically the same, the physiology and psychology involved are often quite different. Adults are likely taking lessons to confront the fear of water and at the same time prepare them to not only move in the water but also learning how use equipment such as life vest, flippers, diving equipment and so on. SSI Adult Swim Teacher course will prepare teachers with the best method to train a more mature swimmer ages 18 years and up.
SSI Professional Level 2 Swim Teacher Certification
The SSI Level 2 Swim Teacher course is to allow teachers to understand the changes to the teaching environment. It will be more developed and goal-oriented with a pace to match. In this level, teachers will move from mechanics to technique. As a result, teachers are expected to exhibit greater professionalism and attention to technical details in a stroke. Many children begin their swimming at a young age, so teachers will have swimmers as young as 4 years of age to 17 years old. With that being said, teachers must plan for the swimmers to reflect their ability, and it is vital to emphasize their efforts and make swimming fun.
SSI Professional Baby Swim Teacher Certification
The SSI Baby & Me Swim Teacher course provides the swim teacher with the key ingredients of understanding how children thinks, reacts, cues, as well as being patient, imaginative and charismatic. Baby teaching also requires skilled communication with not only the baby but also the parents. After completing this course, teachers will be certified and qualified to conduct Baby swim teaching and Aquababy classes.
